Hi. I was about to buy a new SSD and saw this one on a really good price tag. I wanted to know if it is compatible with the spare m.2 SSD slot that comes on the laptop. Product is a KINGSTON NV3 PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 NVMe,1TB, 6000MB/s. Thanks for any answers.

Your Acer Nitro V 15 ANV15-51-73B9 has two M.2 slots—one supports PCIe Gen 4, while the other is limited to PCIe Gen 3. The Kingston NV3 PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD should work in the Gen 4 slot, but if installed in the Gen 3 slot, it will run at reduced speeds

Your Nitro ANV15-51 laptop has ability for 2x M.2 SSD drives the boot drive is a Gen 4 x4 M.2 slot and the secondary M.2 slot is a Gen 3 x4 M.2 SSD drive.

So you can buy the Kingston SSD

Is there a way I could copy my windows os files to the newer SSD so i can boot it from the new 1tb unit I bought and stick it in the gen4 slot?
