Hi I have an Acer KA272E Monitor. l I am unable to turn on the speakers. I am unable to find an English version of the manual as well. Please help. I love this monitor. Would really be great if I could turn the speakers on.

    @AnnaBedek

Some monitors with the Acer KA272E model appear to have speakers, but they don't. It appears on its website that they don't exist. We tried this monitor, but the PC shows that the monitor has sound, but we couldn't hear any sound.

(Acer SA727) My friend suspected this product and wrote to me. When I checked, the panel software Hardware ID is integrated as AOPEN (Acer subsidiary no problem), the outer case is Acer, the label on the back is Russian, the part number from the SNID number does not match the part number on the Acer website. The part number on the box does not match the part number from the SNID.

And also the adapter looks like it's from before Christ.

I think Acer has replica (non-original) products on the market in some regions.

For more detailed information, please send us your SNID or Part Number and we will check it.

The biggest reason why the problems are not solvedis if someone who says there is a problem with the GPU says; If I change the case, will the problem be solved? That's the whole point! The concepts are different! We should not go off topic.

Yes, there are lots and lots of different KA272E models. We need those extra letters after the KA272E on the back, as shown for a SA272 Ebi in that image.

The Acer KA272E monitor does not have built-in speakers. To get sound, you'll need to connect external speakers to your computer, either directly through an audio jack or via an HDMI cable. Here's how to configure your sound output:

    1. 1. Connect speakers:
      • If you have a standard audio jack (3.5mm) on your computer, connect your speakers to it.
      • If your speakers have their own power and audio input (e.g., via USB), connect them accordingly.
    2. 2. Configure sound settings (Windows):
      • Go to Settings > Sound.
      • Under "Choose your output device," select the speakers you've connected.
      • Ensure the volume is not muted and is adjusted to your desired level.
      • You may need to update your audio drivers for optimal performance.
    3. 3. Configure sound settings (Mac):
      • Go to System Preferences > Sound.
      • Under "Output," choose the speakers you've connected.
      • Ensure the volume is not muted and is adjusted to your desired level.

If your monitor has an audio out port, you can connect external speakers to that port and then select the monitor as the default audio output device in your computer's sound settings.

To properly analyze the issue, we still need the full model number of your Acer KA272E monitor. Model variations can impact available features, especially for audio support. You can typically find the exact model number on a sticker located on the back of the monitor or in its system settings.
